Farzanah Chowdhury is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Green Delta Insurance PLC, Bangladesh's leading non-life insurance company. A Chartered Insurer (ACII, UK), she is widely regarded as one of the country's foremost leaders in insurance, financial services, and sustainable development. As the first woman to lead an insurance company as Managing Director and CEO in Bangladesh, she has redefined the industry's landscape by advancing innovation, financial inclusion, and digital transformation.

With more than two decades of leadership experience, Farzanah has pioneered numerous firsts in Bangladesh's insurance sector, including digital insurance, women-centric insurance products, weather index-based agricultural insurance, microinsurance, and integrated healthcare insurance solutions. Under her visionary leadership, Green Delta Insurance has grown beyond a traditional insurer into a diversified financial services group with interests spanning life insurance, investment banking, asset management, healthcare management, and digital financial services, while consistently strengthening its market leadership.

A globally recognized advocate for the vision of "Insurance for Everyone," Farzanah has championed inclusive insurance solutions that extend financial protection to underserved populations, including women, farmers, garment workers, migrant workers, and rural communities. In recognition of her contributions to advancing women's economic security, she was named a UN Global Compact Local SDG Pioneer.
