Executive Assistant to Senior Vice Chairman and Senior Vice President of the Office of Global Partnership for Sustainability and Communications, Charoen Pokphand Group, Co., Ltd. (C.P. Group), Dr. Netithorn Praditsarn works with C.P. Group’s global stakeholders, including business partners, UN agencies, international organizations and civil society organizations to develop business collaborations and promote C.P. Group’s role in sustainable development worldwide. He leads C.P. Group’s Human Rights Working Group in systematically driving the development and implementation of human rights policy and practices. He also serves as the Secretary-General of United Nations Global Compact Network Thailand (UNGCNT), a local network of the United Nations Global Compact, a business coalition dedicated to mobilizing the private sector to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. In this role, Dr. Netithorn has worked to strengthen collaboration on responsible business conduct amongst business actors, with the UNGCNT’s membership growing to over a hundred companies under his tenure. Furthermore, Dr. Netithorn was instrumental in establishing the UNGCNT’s Business and Human Rights Academy to train Thai companies in responsible business conduct, and represented the UNGCNT in drafting and driving the implementation of Thailand’s National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights (NAP) into concrete business practices.
Dr. Netithorn received the King’s Scholarship and the Scholarship of Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to complete his Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. education in international relations from Stanford University, USA.
