Nathan is Chief Policy & Research Officer at the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment. He is also Secretary of the Taskforce on Net Zero Policy, which reports annually on non-state-actor focussed government policies. Nathan was the Chair of the EU Platform on Sustainable Finance that developed the EU Taxonomy and advises the European Commission on sustainable finance regulation. Prior to these roles, he was also CEO of the Investor Group on Climate Change, Australia & New Zealand. These roles are part of over twenty years in sustainable finance in government policy, investment research and ratings, and the development of investment processes and tools. Nathan was educated in International Relations, Business Administration and Ethics & Leadership.
