Hasitha Premaratne is the Managing Director of the Brandix Group, where he leads the company's overall strategy, transformation journey and global business. Prior to assuming this role, he served as Group Finance Director and Chief Strategy Officer. He also sits on the boards of several Brandix subsidiaries and investment ventures, including Teejay Lanka PLC, Inqube Global and Best Pacific Lanka Ltd.

Hasitha serves as an Independent Director of John Keells Hotels PLC, where he chairs the Audit Committee, and is also an Independent Director at NDB Bank. Previously, he served on the Board of Bank of Ceylon, chairing its Risk and Nominations Committees, and has held governance roles with CIMA Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Board, and the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

Before joining Brandix, Hasitha was Head of Research at HNB Stockbrokers (Private) Limited. He has extensive experience in capital markets, economics, strategic finance, management and research, and has lectured for CIMA and ACCA programmes across Sri Lanka, India, Singapore and the Philippines.

Hasitha holds an MBA in International Finance and a BSc in Computer Science. He is a Fellow of CIMA (UK), ACCA (UK) and CMA (Sri Lanka), and is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including the CIMA Star of the Year Award and the CIMA Tutor of the Year Award.
